FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Everything you need to know to plan your SXM Festival experience.

Tickets

  • Are there any age restrictions?

As much as we would love to have everyone with us, SXM Festival is a 18+ event. A valid photo ID is required for entry to all venues.

  • When will I receive my official ticket?

An email from Easol will be sent one week from the festival with your UNIQUE BARCODE. You will need this barcode and your ID to pick up your festival wristband at will call.

  • Where do I pick up my wristband?

Call schedule and locations will be announced closer to the festival’s date. Make sure you have completed your check in online on your Easol profile.

Download your barcode to your phone or have it printed out in the event of limited cellular activity. Bring an ID with a picture. It must match the attendee name on your ticket.

If you have a ticket that is not in your name, please contact us prior to your arrival at info@sxmfestival.com.

Venues

  • Can I leave and re-enter venues?

Re-entry is only permitted once. Double check with our on-site staff for specific venue rules.

  • Are there any shuttles?

We don’t provide shuttle services, but getting around the island is simple and part of the adventure! From taxis and car rentals to local options, you’ll find plenty of ways to move between venues and explore. Head over to the Transport section for all the tips and details.

  • Add-On Satellite Parties

Satellite Party tickets will be available for purchase in early 2026. These parties have limited capacity and are expected to sell out fast. Note that 5-Day and 3-Day pass holders get priority access on these sales and that Panorama party is reserved to 5-Day pass holders only.

Always! Your safety is our priority: we have ample security on site at any of our festival venues.

Driving gives you the freedom to find hidden beaches, local spots, and scenic views. Just remember: you’ll need a valid driver’s license, a credit card, and basic insurance.

For the best experience, ride with a designated driver so you can fully relax and enjoy the island.

  • Driving around the island

Saint Martin is just 37 square miles, so you can drive around the island in about 90 minutes. The main Route Nationale 7 runs along the coast, making it easy to get from place to place. While light traffic is common, it usually clears quickly.

Pro tip: Traffic can back up near the Sandy Ground and Simpson Bay bridges during boat crossings. Check the schedule when you arrive and plan to pass before or after.

  • Can I leave my car in the parking area at Happy Bay?

Absolutely, please don’t drink and drive. Grab a cab and pick up your car the next day if needed.

Your safety is our priority, so don’t hesitate to ask our staff on site for tips on local transport options.

Travel

  • Do I need a Visa to visit Saint Martin?

  • When should I plan to arrive on the island?

SXM Festival officially starts on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. The island is beautiful: you are welcome to arrive as early as they wish in order to check into accommodations and spend the first days exploring.

  • Is the island safe?

Saint Martin is a small island with a low crime rate and a friendly, happy population. There are French and Dutch police on each respective side of the island.

Please take travel-wise precautions just like any country you would visit by not flashing money or jewelry around, not leaving valuables in cars, not going to secluded places at night or trespassing on private property, and not being rude or disrespectful to the locals.

As always, please practice safe driving laws and avoid bringing any substances that would be deemed illegal by either French or Dutch police standards.
