Covid Policy

SXM Festival organizers take every precaution to ensure you have an easygoing, healthy, and 100% worry-free experience. We will have trained personnel on site as well as certified medical personnel, and there will be an array of measures to maintain safety for guests, staff, locals, and anyone else along the way.

Everyone attending SXM Festival should feel safe, relaxed and ready to enjoy being in the company of other people again. We are working with all the relevant organizations and public health authorities to ensure a safe and responsible event for all guests and staff . We are taking extra precautions to ensure that the risk of Covid transmission is minimized at SXM Festival.

All participants attending SXM Festival will need to show one of the following to be able to enter the festival grounds;

– Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination. This requires two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine being given at least 14 days prior to event attendance.

– Proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test carried out at home within 72 hours before the show you are attending.

Once you have shown your negative test proof you will be able to pick up your wristband at the box office, and you are free to enjoy yourself.

All staff working at SXM Festival will be expected to abide by the same conditions and restrictions as ticket holders before they start work at the event. These same conditions and restrictions extend to all Artists who will be playing at the event.

Proof of your COVID-19 status will help everyone to decrease the risk of the virus being spreading at the event. To do this, we ask that everyone working and attending this event kindly abide by this process. Anyone presenting a test result that is falsified or not their own will be refused admission to the event.

If you came to the island in advance and your test is to expire during the event, a simple additional rapid test at the door will be available at the cost of $40.

All staff working in close proximity to clients and other staff will be expected to wear a mask. This includes Bar Staff, Food Vendors, Security, Stewarding Staff and Welfare/Medical staff.

Attendees will not be required to wear face masks however we encourage it in areas of high density.

A VISA to enter Saint Martin is not required for most countries, including Europe and North America. Please double check online regarding your country of citizenship before traveling.

Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, Sint Maarten has established a mandatory health authorization application through an Electronic Health Authorization System (EHAS) for every visitor whether arriving by air, boat or in transit. Without the health authorization, entry into the country will be denied by the immigration authorities.

Please visit the official website for more information:

There will be many hand sanitation points available throughout the site. We will be enforcing strict and regular cleaning at the highest standards that will be enforced and tracked throughout the event. During set up, there will also be regular deep cleansing of high touch points on site weekly including staff areas, welfare, medical and toilets.

We would still advise all ticket holders to ensure they are washing and sanitizing their hands regularly.

Please choose the right travel insurance for your trip for peace of mind.

Your wristband is for your entry but it is also your wallet! No need to touch anything by the bar or food court, just tap that chip and you’re all set.  Contactless!

Our main priority this year is the safety of all guests and staff at the event. For this reason, SXM Festival has decided not to sell at full capacity, but rather to limit ticket sales to 5000 guests maximum to abide by Covid restrictions and create a safe environment. We will be hosting under 5000 guests. This capacity will be closely monitored and maintained.

By attending SXM Festival, you voluntarily assume all risks related to Covid-19 exposure, other infectious and/or communicable diseases, viruses, bacteria, or illnesses.

Please note that Covid policies are subject to change according to government regulations.

We look forward to seeing you all!
